Hi Jean, I answered all your questions but one. When I saw this I remembered you asked me about Highlands. Yes, there is a district approximately 4 miles out of Hardy. Highlands School, a big Church called Highlands ???, business of different types. I don't know from there where the old TWP was, but its there someplace. If you haven't heard where the cemetery is by the time I go back I'll look around for it. I drive that road at least once a day when there. Thanks so much, Pat. That would be very much appreciated. I wish that I had found that information out at the beginning of my time there, not at the very end, and I would have made the trip, myself! Mysteries seem to unravel ever so slowly! :( Blessings, Jean At 07:06 PM 7/8/01 -0600, you wrote: >Hi Jean, > >I answered all your questions but one. This probably isn't much help BUT....The Highland Cemetery is at a church on the right hand side when you are going toward Ash Flat. I forgot the name of the highway. My great grandpa Joe James Williford is buried there in an unmarked grave. There are several unmarked graves there. I stopped in to ask about the graves once. Nobody knew anything about them. Nobody knew anything at all about the plots. I'm in IN & can't get down there much so if anybody can find out anything about the plots I'd love to hear from ya too. My Great grandpa is buried beside another person with an unmarked grave so we aren't sure which of the 2 is his. My mom & I would love to be able to place a marker there for him.
