Hi! I'm wondering if anyone has any information about the KILLMAN surname in Sharp Co., AR. I'm looking for a David (possibly James David) KILLMAN b. abt 1851. He was reportedly "from" Hickory Valley, AR - not sure if that means he was born there or not. It looks like Hickory Valley is in Independence Co., AR., but very close to Sharp Co. Other AR connections for the KILLMAN surname include: Jane (Jincey/Jinsey) HOPPER KILLMAN who died 7-18-1872 in White Co. Her husband was James KILLMAN, but he died 1848 in Cumberland, KY. Jinsey and James KILLMAN's daughter, Irena (Irenia) KILLMAN married a George W. SCOTT, and I show Irena as dying 10-5-1875 and being buried in the Fredonia Cemetery in White, AR. Also, Jinsey and James KILLMAN's son, Henry KILLMAN d. 1886/1887 in White Co. I also show a Thomas Lee KILLMAN b. 7-13-1864 in AR, but don't know what county. His parents were Henry KILLMAN and Elizabeth COX. Also a Francis Marion KILLMAN b. 1-29-1864 in AR, county unknown. His parents were Robert KILLMAN and Rebecca. Would love any suggestions. Thanks!
