Norma, Don't worry about asking 'dumb' questions.. there are no dumb questions. We all had to learn sometime.. If you go to: http://resources.rootsweb.com/USA/AR/Sharp/ go down where it says 'GenConnect at Rootsweb" and click on the box that says QUERIES. That's the Sharp County board.. It's a place where you can put out queries on your surnames, and people will respond and you're bound to find new cousins as well as new information on your families.. My problem with this type of board (and it's just been overhauled, so I'm sure it still has bugs!), is that it will not allow me to POST after I've typed out my message and done all I'm suppose to do.. Others have not had any problems.. but there are still others that are having problems, like me.. But, that, my dear, is a board... don't be frightened of it, and don't be afraid to ask for more help. We all learned at one time or another, and we are patient with all beginners...
