Hi! While I was visiting some of my folks in Franklin earlier this month, I did more asking about my ancestors, John D. FERGUSON and Wife, Sarah L. BALLARD (they always knew her as "Elizabeth"). I was told that they are buried in the Highland Cemetery, in Sharp County. Does anyone know where the Highland Cemetery is located? And, is that the name of the cemetery, or should I be looking for another? I found out that after they lived on the first farm at Cave City, they later lived on land between Ash Flat and Hardy. Is Hardy in Sharp County?? I was told that one of my gr grandpa Tom Ferguson's sons, Oscar, had descendants named Leonard and Jesse SMITH. I believe Leonard was said to be an Assembly of God preacher at Horseshoe Bend (where-ever that is!) Oscar had two daughters, "Cimie"?? and Ginny. Do they ring bells with anyone? This FERGUSON/BALLARD hunt of mine has been a real challenge, for sure! Thanks! Jean Cuevas
