This article is found in the Sharp County Record of 1897 Road Notice: Notice is hereby given that the undersigned will apply at the October term of the Sharp county court, 1897, for an order authorizing him to make the following changes in the Evening Shade and Mud Town road and the Evening Shade & LaCrosse road, to wit” Leaving the Evening Shade and Mud Town road near the foot of the first hill ne of W. G. Horton’s house and run n by ne to Evening Shade and LaCrosse road leaving said road near the ?w corner of the north field of the Birchfield farm and run nearly east to the west end of the lane near the Birchfield…? .. and intersect up the old road in the bottoms.
