    2. Hi, I've no idea to your question, but brings up one of mine. Is this Evening Shade the same town where they did the TV show years ago? My BUCHANNON families lived there in 1870. Is any one out there looking for them? Maybe we can trade info. Jackie eroyal@centurytel.net wrote: This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. I never heard of Mud Town. ----- Original Message ----- From: <eroyal@centurytel.net> To: <ARSHARP-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, September 26, 2005 10:38 PM Subject: [ARSHARP] Mud Town Road & LaCrosse Road intersecting at Evening Shade, AR > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Mudtown,LaCrosse > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/mV.2ADI/597 > > Message Board Post: > > Does anyone know where the MudTown Road or the LaCrosse Road near Evening Shade Arkansas were located in 1897. 3. Just thought I would mention that Linda Bloodworth Thomason who was the writer and co-producer for the tv show EVENING SHADE, [as well as the co-writer and coproducer with her husband, for the tv show DESIGNING WOMEN], was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School, in Poplar Bluff, MO. She graduated with my 1st cousin, and is very familiar with these parts of the Ozarks! Many of the storylines for Designing Women were based on things in the area, and she used real people's names who lived in the area. Lanita Sconce Smith Daviess Co., MO
