Petty`s prior marriage to a Mary J. Devenport abt. 1859 in Lawrence Co. Ar. I find them listed in the 1860 Lawrence Co. census. (they are listed as PELLY. I too am searching for Petty. My aunt Mabel Elizabeth Banks was married to Doyle Petty. She and baby died during childbirth August 29, 1011. I am searching for anyone who knew them or where my aunt and baby are buried. Hi, does anyone know where this Harriet Ring came from? An auntie of mine, Edwina Barton, married a Charles Ring in Pope Co, MO, in Nov 1870. Then I never can find them again.
