Hi, Does anyone know if there are school records from the 1860-1880's for Sharp Co? And where would I find them? I have some relatives living in Evening Shade in 1870 census. By 1880, 2 of the kids were married & living in Fulton Co. I'm looking for info on surname BUCHANNAN. George W, Virginia (Adis) & Alexander. Household in 1870 was John, 78, Nancy 50 & these kids. I think Virginia was my gg-grma. I'm actually wondering if John was their grandfather, due to the age difference between him & Nancy. But I wonder if school records might tell me anything.
