Hi Michael My name is Loyd Sanders and have no kin with the last name of Loyd. However, my ggrandfather Samuel Blake Sanders lived in the Sharp/Lawrence county area from 1846 until his death in 1901 had a brother Harris M. Sanders married a lady named Elizabeth Perkins Loyd on Aug 1, 1847. She had two boys John M. Loyd and William E. Loyd. These two boys were the sons of James C. Loyd who married Elizabeth Perkins and died Mar 26, 1846. John was about 10 yrs on the 1850 census and William was 8 yrs. I have some limited additional info. on this family. Hi, Loyd, I don't know if there's a connection, but my grandfather's sister, Ann Rasdon, married James R. Sanders in Sharp County in 1907 and their son was James Blake Sanders. I believe that James R. was born about 1876 but don't have much more information on him.
