I am researching my great grandmother, Sarah Carter, born 1864 in MO. I believe she was the daughter of James Carter. She married James Thomas and had several children. After James died, she married Bill Jones and had more children. Sarah is buried in Baker Cemetery in Izard Co. She doesn't have a head stone but we have several relatives who knew she was buried there with at least one of her children who died when he was a toddler. My grandmother spoke of a cousin Joe Carter. I would appreciate any info on the Carter family.
