Whitfield Taylor was born April 5th 1824 in North Carolina. He Married Namey Gaines in Weakley County Tennessee in 1845. Namey had A twin sister Amy "Anna" Gaines that married asa V Ladd. There was another sister, Nancy Gaines that married A white & then A Davis. & another sister Sarah F Gaines that married Daniel Egbert Baldridge. All of these Families ended up in Arkansas, Sharp, Randolph, & fulton Counties. Whitfield Taylor left A brother (William H Taylor) & possibly A mother (Agness Taylor) in Weakley Co Tn. Whitfield Taylor & family, Nancy "White" Davis & family, Amy "Anna" Ladd & Family Are all found living in Stoddard County Missouri in the 1860 census. Then in Arkansas in 1870-1880 Whitfield & Namey Taylor is my G Grandparent's.
