Hi Tootie: You do a great job with this list. I understand about the mix-ups. I find my ancestors with the wrong dates and names. One set is even in a book. I called the author and he told me that he was sorry but thats all the info he had. I also had Sharps in Sharp County. Mine came from Samuel G. Sharp and Lucinda (Sharp) maiden name also Sharp. These folks came from Morgan Co. AL about 1847, moved to Independence Co. aboput 1847. When the line changed about 1873 (I think) they were also in Sharp County in the NW corner. I have also worked hard on all my lines and do take note if something is a theory and not final proof. I was at your Watermelon Festival one year and lots of Sharps were there but none of mine.
