Is anyone familiar with Sloan's Creek which is off of the Strawberry River near Evening Shade? I believe my ggg-grands, Alfred L. Sloan and Jane Thomson Sloan farmed there after they were married in 1829. I cannot find the cemetery where they are buried and wonder if it could be on their land. Also, what is in this area now?
