Beverly, Do you have the Izard County History Book that was just published this summer? If you don't, I may have some info for you from it about Joseph Wesley Ragan. I had been under the mistaken impression all my life from my folks that the name was spelled like the president. But, in this latest history book it has the scoop. I've loaned the book to my parents (they got me started on geneology), but I'll get it back soon.
