Yes, David Orr was a circuit preacher. I had a clipping about him, but can't find it at the moment. His circuit was from Southern Missouri all the way to Little Rock. I believe he was a Methodist minister. I will keep digging. He was my late husband's gg grandfather. David Orr was my gg grandfather. He was born in Ky and came first to Mo about 1820 then into Ar. about five years later. He preached in Lawrence Co, Fulton Co, and other counties. He died in 1849, at Franklin Ar. He was Baptist and helped start several of the early churches in that area. I have more info if you need it.
