Try getting a death date Not sure which address you mean, but I should have clarified that from the www.rootsweb.com main page you click on "Searches" at the top. Then on the "Searches" page you can click on the state you want under "Records from Federal and State Resources." The address for Public Record Finder worked fine for me tonight. Several of the links take you to http://find.intelius.com which may or may not be that helpful, depending on what you're looking for, but others, like the California birth index are good. Unless you pay for a subscription to that site, you can search only by last name, so if it's a common name you might have to go through a lot of pages. What state and year are you looking for? Dale
