Thank you for sharing that as that is a useful database. However... To the Family Tree Legends folk: What a ripoff! A lot of those indexes that your site is charging for have been available for free elsewhere forever. How do you get by with this stuff? They make it sound like they're giving away something that isn't theirs to give away in the first place. Makes me wonder how much of their FTL software might be based upon some other company's work... Family Tree Maker, PAF, et al. Misc. vital records including CA & KY birth & marriage & OR death and a lot more: http://www.publicrecordfinder.com/vitalrecrds.html Texas birth, death, marriage, divorce (includes the county for all records which I notice the later TX births in this company's index do not): http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/tx/countysearch.htm Illinois Death, Pre-1916: http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/GenealogyMWeb/deathsrch.html Illinois Death, 1916-1950 http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/GenealogyMWeb/idphdeathsrch.html Illinois Marriage, 1763-1900: http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/GenealogyMWeb/marrsrch.html Arizona birth & death: http://genealogy.az.gov/ CA, KY, ME, TX death: http://searches.rootsweb.com/ I have access to the AR Death Index (1914-1950) and several other indexes (ask) and will do look-ups. Bear in mind that this database (AR) isn't that great and seems to have a lot of holes in it. Dale
Dale, You'll be inundated with requests, I'm sure. But when you can, would you look in your AR death files & see if you can find Bettis Daniel & wife Sarah Ellen. I think they died in Johnson Co, in late teens or early 1920's. Other people have looked, but I don't know what database they were in. Maybe you have something different. This name has appeared with and without an 's' on the end. I also once saw it as DAIEL, left out the 'n'. Thank you so much.
