    2. Dale Marr
    3. Sharp Co. records older than 1880 were destroyed in a fire, but there are a few mentions of some Edingtons in these indexes to the Sharp County Record: http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ar/sharp/history/pub/news1877.txt http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ar/sharp/history/pub/news1885.txt http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ar/sharp/history/pub/news1890.txt Shirley Trivitt was listed on this page, http://www.rootsweb.com/~arsharp/refer.htm, as someone who volunteered to do lookups. She did some for me two years ago, and this is the last e-mail address I have for her: sjtrivitt@centurytel.net. Have you found any of them in the census? They were in Vernon Co., MO in 1860. I found one LDS Ancestral file which has death dates for some of the sons. Go to http://familysearch.org and do a search for "Sterling Edington." Dale -- No virus found in this outgoing message. 1. John F. Boothe? 1800-1837 guess
    2. Dwight Booth
    3. Does any one have a John F. Boothe missing in Floyd co., around 1825. I have found record of him starting in 1825 through 1837. He purchased land in Union Township in what is now Sharp Co. Arkansas in 1829. In 1837 a group of Boothe show up on the tax rolls they were Ferguson, George A., Robert G., and Isaac Boothe from Floyd Co., VA. They settled in Union Township. The only ties I have are the name and all of them settled in Union Township. I have had a chance to check 1830 census in Arkansas. Who was John F. Boothe?

    3. Hello Sharp Co. The WOLFE family I am researching is WIlliam (Wess) WOLFE from Wythe, Virginia. His parents were David C. WOLFE and Christina PERKEY also of Wythe, Virginia. My two GOFORTH lady ancestors (sisters) married into both lines, WOLFE and PERKEY. Eliza GOFORTH married Wm. W. WOLFE in Arkansas Martha J. GOFORTH married Wm M.PERKEY in 1856, in Arkansas Martha J. GOFORTH dies young (after the birth of daughter Josephine, in 1861) William M. PERKEY goes back to Wythe, Virginia and marrries a second time, to Doretha Thompson of Wythe, Va. in 1864. They have a family in AR. Wm M. Perkey and Christina Perkey were siblings, and Wm (Wes) Wolfe was a son of Christina. (This family was from Wythe, Virginia) This GOFORTH family were from Tn. and came to AR in the 1850`s. Anyone on the list researching GOFORTH? Ginny Oddly, This PERKEY family seems to have started with a John H. WOLF br: abt: 1755 in Wythe, Va. John H. WOLF had a daughter Barbara WOLF, Br: Aug. 1794 in Wythe, Va. She marries Henry LAMBERT, and they have a daughter, Peggy LAMBERT. Peggy LAMBERT marries Solomon PERKEY. Solomon PERKEY and Peggy LAMBERT have a son, the above William M. PERKEY

    3. I am looking for information on the Baker Cemetery 4 miles south of Myron. My aunt and I would like to put a monument on the grave of my great-grandmother and her young son who are buried there. Her name was Sarah Jones when she died sometime after 1900/1903. She is buried next to her son who died at age 2, his name was Samuel Thomas. Sarah's maiden name was Carter and her first husband was James Thomas. After James died, she married Bill (?) Jones. How can we learn exactly which plots they are buried in? Sarah and James had other children who died or were stillborn and may possibly be buried in this cemetery.
