Hello, I'm new to the list here so this may have been covered by someone else previously. I am looking for George W BUCHANNAN, and family. His wife was Mary. They lived in Union, in Fulton Co in 1880 but in the 1870 census George was a young man at home in Sharp Co, with his parents John & Nancy, (Ithink that was his mother's name. He was 15 then, with a sister named Virginia, aged 13. I think her middle name may have been Ada or Adis. Also a younger brother, Alexander. George & Virginia list their birthplace as TN, with the parents coming from SC. If I'm correct that these are who I believe them to be, Virginia (or Adis) married Edd GREEN. Edd, wife Adis & baby Thomas lived in Fulton Co in 1880, next door to George & Mary Buchannan. Any help greatly appreciated & I will be glad to share my info. Thank you. JAckie Harlan Jackie May you be in Heaven a half-hour before the Devil knows you're dead. (Old Irish blessing)
Malisa, I can't help you with your Rutledges. I am interested in your GREEN family though. I am descended from Edd GREEN from MO & his wife Adis (Ada) BUCHANNAN, from TN. Their oldest son was Thomas & he was my grt-grpa. Do you have any siblings for your James? My Thomas was born in 1879 in Fulton Co, I think. But Adis lived in Sharp Co in 1870. Her brother was George W BUCHANNAN, her father poss John. Thank you very much. Jackie Malisa Hodges <malisa101664@yahoo.com> wrote: I want to find the CONNECTION between this family and mine.
