    1. Drury Wilson
    2. Dale Marr
    3. Might anyone know anything about the second wife of Drury Wilson? He married first Susan Ramsey c. 1828, and they were the parents of 11 children. I recently learned of a second marriage, to "Arabella," and they had two children. One source I found says Arabella's maiden name was Henderson and that she was first married to Nathan Dougherty. This fits the censuses. Could the Jane Henderson in her household in 1870 be her mother? I found a marriage record in nearby Independence Co. on 24 Oct 1868 for a Drury Wilson and Ann A. Halliburton. I've got a lot of Halliburtons in my file but can't place her. At first I thought this might be Arabella (middle name), but she and Drury weren't living together in 1870. Could this have been the same Drury Wilson, and he had a short marriage to Ann A. Halliburton between 1868 and 1870? I've never found another Drury Wilson in the area not connected to this family. (It was mostly used as a middle name after the original "Drury.") Anyone know who this Ann A. Halliburton was? I'm "fleshing out" this part of my file now, particularly the later generations, and any information or corrections on any of the Wilsons, Halliburtons, et al, would be appreciated. I've got quite a lot of info already and would be happy to share. 1850 Lawrence Co., AR -- Richwoods Twp. -- 11 Oct 1850 -- p. 196 Wilson, Drury 44 TN Susan 30 KY Ruben J. 18 AR Reuben Jasper William N. 17 AR William Newton, Sr. Thomas N. 14 AR Thomas Monroe Josiah 11 AR Josiah R. 1. White's in Sharp/Lawrence Co. AR late 1800's
    2. I hope someone can help me out with this one....I have very sketchy information on the people I'm looking for, but hope some little tidbit of it will ring a bell with someone on this list. I found my husbands grandfather Thomas Jefferson WHITE age 17 on the 1900 census living in Sharp Co.AR with his mother and stepfather: Susan Harriett & Thomas Daniel Hartzell/Hartsell, they were living in Lebanon Twp. According to the census she was born in MO Dec 1857. I believe Thomas Jefferson was her last child born to her first marriage to a Unknown WHITE. He was born ca1883 and her second marriage took place in Lawrence Co.AR 1886. Would anyone had a Male WHITE who was married to a Susan Harriett Unknown? I would really like to find Thomas Jefferson's father and his ancestors. 2. Dale, You'll be inundated with requests, I'm sure. But when you can, would you look in your AR death files & see if you can find Bettis Daniel & wife Sarah Ellen. I think they died in Johnson Co, in late teens or early 1920's. Other people have looked, but I don't know what database they were in. Maybe you have something different. This name has appeared with and without an 's' on the end. I also once saw it as DAIEL, left out the 'n'. Thank you so much.
