    3. Jean, This is very interesting.... thanks for sending it.. I'll have to study the dates to see if any of the Luthers are mine. Thanks again, for taking the time to help! If you ever need a lookup in Oregon Co., MO, please let me know. I have the census for 1850-1900, Cemetery Book, marriage listings for 1845-1890, and the History Book. Will be glad to have a chance to repay your kindness! I have a feeling that we are cousins. My gggggrandmother was Jane/Jenny MAYFIELD who mar. Robert SCONCE, JR., in Bourbon Co., KY.. We've talked before! Lanita

    3. Have you written to the courthouse to see if they will look up the marriage record? They have been very helpful with me. My line has some Bennetts in it but I haven't done anything on the. My line is Jackson,Hibbs, LeMieux/Lamew/Henson and there are many related lines that I haven't done anything with. But the courthouses have been helpfu; I always check on what they charge and send a sase and a little extra for copying and coffee.Sue Sincerely, An iPhone User

    2. Hi Ron, I don't know if it could be the same family or not. My g-grandfather, John Grover Lewis, as born, we think, in 1890. However, even if it's not him, it could be a family member, and I will certainly follow up on the information. His first wife's name was Dora Alice Mosley, second wife was Mary, not sure of the last name, possibly Herrington. If any of this fits with your information, please let me know. Thanks again, Georgiana
