[email protected] was kind enough to answer my query on why this very useful genealogical site was no longer active.  Seems that the web site owners are having health issues and can no longer afford the time and financial committment to keep it running.  It will be sorely missed.  I know i used (abused?) it very frequently and I was a volunteer for Denton County, TX.   My I suggest that any of you that can afford a little time in your county of residence post a short notice on your rootsweb site that you are available to look up an obit or take a tombstone photo - within reason.  Also indicate if you would required reimbursement for gasoline or copying /postage costs within reason.   Thank you very much [email protected]   I am available to take digital tombstone photos for Southern Denton County Texas - no charge.

David Sure hate to hear that. I hope their health issues are soon resolved. Bless their hearts, trying to help others.   I can no longer take pictures, but have posted a lot of Kiowa County, OK [I live in Kiowa Co, OK] to FindAGrave.com as have so many others working on trying to get the memorials on. Have also posted to FAG for some of the Sebastian County, AR Cemeteries from list or information given to me by family.  Check FindAGrave.com So much has been posted there the last few years by many volunteers. Many work together to get the complete memorial on. Many post the memorial others or the same person post the grave picture-many obituaries are on there also.  If you have Genealogical questions. I am on Ancestry.com and can do look ups for you.
