Hello, I am brand new to the Sebastian Co., mailing list. I would like to correspond with anyone who has Gee's in their line. Specifically I am looking for a marriage record for Henry VanBuren Gee who married Maud Caroline Williams, supposedly at Ft. Smith, Arkansas....date unsure but they had a daughter Ruby who was born in 1913. I believe Maud's father was Bill Williams and family legend has it that he was half Cherokee. Henry's father was Charles Hiram Gee and he was supposed to be half Cherokee as well. This family traveled back and forth between Arkansas and Oklahoma. I have never researched Cherokee records before. Can anyone tell me what is available? Thank you so much. Coleen Alaska
