    2. Ruth Avo BUTLER, 81, of Panama, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, in Spiro. She was born April 2, 1920 in Calhoun. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.E. "Mitt" Butler. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Evelyn Butler of Panama, David and Frances Butler of Poteau, and Alan and Lisa Butler of Irving, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3 in Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Junior Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. Pallbearers will be M.L. Owens, Eulice Butler, Jerry Ogle, Pete Butler, Dave Monks and Al Monks. William "Bill" STINSON, 74, of Howe, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, in Poteau. He was a longtime resident of the area, a member of the Monroe Church of Christ, where he often led singing, and was a member of the Ridge Runners Singing Group. He was preceded in death by one brother, Don Stinson. Survivors include his wife Blanch of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald Randy and Pam Stinson of Tonkawa; two sisters, Eupha Thompson and husband Dale and Mona Brothers and husband Alfred, all of Bates, Ark.; one brother, R.E. Stinson and wife Rose of Fort Gibson; three grandchildren, Caleb, Ethan and Emily Stinson, all of Tonkawa; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3 at Monroe Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Howe Cemetery under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener. Ruth Naomi ORSBUN, 87, of Spiro, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, in Pocola. She was born Sept. 4, 1913 at Spiro to Harold Herbert and Lula Sackett Fox. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chester; two sisters, Stella Gomell and Esther White; and one brother, George Fox. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Ruth Bindewald of Las Vegas, Nev.; one son, John D. Lee Orsburn of Laguna Hills, Calif.; two sisters, Opal Oglesby of Dallas and Ruby Cress of Lahabra, Calif.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 at the New Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Lawrence Langley officiating. Services are under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
