Hello list, I am looking for the parents of William H. Bridgers/Bridges who died Feb 19, 1909 in Ft. Smith. I am hoping that the death record had that information and if there are any volunteers or SKS out there that can check for me? This has been a brick wall for a long time now. The marriage record does not list the parents of William or Delila so that was a dead end. I don't even know his exact D.O.B. because of his changing ages in the census records! I don't know if he would have had an obit placed or what paper would have carried Ft. Smith Deaths. I am hoping my volunteer work in CA will "come" around and I will find the answers I need on my brick wall. Would love to see if the obit also lists information, but the death record may be the only place to find his parent's names and maybe where they were from. 1 William H.
