    2. Information from So Sebastian Co Gen Society "The Key" for Goforth surname 66-30 - Edward in picture. Greenwood H.S. football team 67-20 - Picture Center School. Goforth's: Ermond, Elvin, Lina, Everett 77-17 - John Henry IZELL & Nancy Melissa GARNER's daughter, Ethel, married Everett GOFORTH of the Mt. Zion Community. She was 1 of 10 kids. 78-39 - Page 37 of my copy of this issue is a blank page (printer error, I'm sure). Page 38 starts in the middle of someone's story, and is following by other's notes about themselves. Greenwood High School graduates. (The *** were put in by me, to protect the privacy of the individual). The following short note was written by Edward "Fetch" GOFORTH - "When I graduated from Greenwood HIgh School in 1928, I was the youngest one in our class, it could be several are younger than me now. I married Reba Jean GANT of the 1931 class. We have one daughter, Martha Jean, that is now married and has one red-headed son, four years of age. She (Martha Jean SWANSON) works here in Fort Smith for *** in the Accounting Department. As for me, I have lived my entire life in Greenwood and Fort Smith. I took early retirement from Whirlpool Corporation. I now live at *** in a two story, red brick, 10 rooms, alone, for the first time in my life I am my own boss when at home alone. I have done lots of hunting and fishing in my life and still do. We will be going on our annual deer hunt next month. Hope to see as many as possible of my class mates at our reunion." 79-33 - Picture of Ruby and Robert GANT, Reba Jean GANT GOFORTH, with Ethel ROWE GANT. 79-38 - Story, "Harlan, Charles and Ruth Stewart," by John Terry. When Harlan STEWART came back to Greenwood in 1926 (from El Dorado, AR) he courted and married "...Ruth Ann GOFORTH, daughter of Walter E. and Mattie WALKER GOFORTH. She was born about 4 miles East of Greenwood. Ruth Ann's grandfather was a native of Sebastian County, and his father came to Sebastian County from Tennessee. Her great-grandfather came to Sebastian County before the Civil War. He enlisted in the Federal Army at Fort Smith in 1862. When the war was over, he returned to Sebastian County and lived here until he died. He is buried near Hackett, Ark." Harlan STEWART and Ruth Ann GOFORTH STEWART's children: Martha Ann (m. author, John TERRY); Mary Lena (married Marvin RICHARDSON). More is written about both Harlan and Ruth Ann. There is also a picture of them with their daughters. 80-45 - Ermond, Elvin, and Everett GOFORTH noted as attending school with Theresa GRIFFIN. 1st - 8th grade at Center 80-46 - (Probably) a school picture that includes Ermon GOFORTH 83-8 - Mr. GOFORTH and Mr. SKINNER owned a hardware store 87-16 - Obit of Tilmon HESTER. W.E. GOFORTH listed as one of the pallbearers 89-26 & 27 - Harlan (Jake) STEWART story who married Ruth Ann GOFORTH 90-3 - United Daughters of the Confederacy - Major Thad Tatum Chapter #1747 - Mrs. Ruth Ann GOFORTH was born December 21, 1905, at Greenwood, AR. She was great-grand daughter of Joseph S.
