He was the foreman for the Circle R Ranch and a member of the Dora Assembly of God. Funeral will be 10 a.m. today in the Dora Assembly of God with burial at Dora Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Loretta; a daughter, Connie J. Jones of Long, Okla.; three sons, Presley of Van Buren, Robert of Dripping Springs and Damon of Barrow, Alaska; two sisters, Opal Benoit and Leona Anderson, both of Muldrow; two brothers, David of Juneau, Alaska, and Carl of Muldrow; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jason Russell, Truman Anderson, Doug Thompson, Paul and Billy Benoit and J.R. Wells. Theda Riley ALMA - Theda Joyce Riley, 63, of Alma died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, in a local hospital. She was a resident of Alma, a retired nurse and a graduate of Westark College. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. She is survived by her husband, Howell N. Riley Sr.; two daughters, Joyce Rose of Alma and Gail Bowles of Fort Smith; a son, Howell N. Riley Jr. of Van Buren; her parents, Chester and Audrey Cotton of Atkins; a sister, Carolyn Capes of Atkins; a brother, Jacke Cotton of Jacksonville; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. John Kluetz John Gerald Kluetz, 35, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2001, in Fort Smith. He was a machine operator for Southern Systems. The body will be cremated under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. No formal service is planned. He is survived by his wife, Alissa Kluetz of Wausau, Wis.; a son, Benjamin John Kluetz of Fort Smith; his father and stepmother, Ronald and Jean Kluetz of Schofield, Wis.; his mother and stepfather, Sharon and Ronald Bloch of Wausau; and a sister, Amy Kluetz of Wausau. Dewey Hines HARVEY - Dewey Wesley Hines, 68, of Harvey died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from the Army, a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars and a member of Chant Pentecostal Church. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Chant Pentecostal Church with burial at Parks Cemetery in Nola under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron. He is survived by his wife, Judy; a daughter, Teri L. Brothers of Harvey; two sons, Madison F. "Buddy" Hines and Douglas D. Don Sturdivant OZARK - Don Sturdivant, 56, of Ozark died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, in Fort Smith. He attended Assembly of God and was retired from GTE Phone Co. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Mountain Top under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. He is survived by two sons, Kyle and Steven, both of Ozark; a sister, Helen Cooley of Midwest City, Okla.; two brothers, Harold and Kenneth, both of Ozark; and four grandchildren, Chelsea, Corrine, Caleb and Peyton Sturdivant. Pallbearers will be Wayne, David, Gary, Grant, Gordon, Allen and T.L. Sturdivant. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Laura Richmond MENA - Laura Ellen Richmond, 94, of Mena died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, in Mena. She was born March 28, 1907, in Beaucamp. She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Nella. She was the widow of Dean Richmond. Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Pinecrest Memorial Park under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Ruby Richmond of Mena; a grandson and his wife, Andy and Sara Richmond of Waldo; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. George R. Harvey Sr., 78, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2001, in Fort Smith. He was a retired electrical contractor and former owner and operator of Harvey & Preston Electrical and also Electron. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Builders Sunday School class. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas, a member of the UA Alumni Association and an academic and athletic supporter of UA. Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. today in Roebuck Chapel with a private interment at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Grace; a daughter, Dr. Lee Ann Harvey of Fort Smith; a son, George R.
