Suzy: My mothers family "SELF" lived on the Island for many years. My Mother went to the one room school house also. Her siblings also was born and grew up on the island. My Uncle Johnny SELF had a store at the edge of the southern end of the island. I also have family buried at the Island cemetery. Has anyone ever written a book about life on the island? Johnnie in CA
