    3. PARIS - Edwin Garner Meriwether, 73, of Paris died Monday, July 3, 2000, in Paris. He was employed in trucking and was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War.Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in Roller Funeral Home Chapel of Paris with burial at 11:30 a.m. at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.He is survived by his wife, Mary Holloway Meriwether; six daughters, Debbie Meriwether of Holiday, Fla., Joan Hackett of Kansas, Cindy Vernon of Florida, Vickie Sweeney of Japan, Patricia Meriwether of Carmi, Ill., and DeLaney Meriwether of Jackson, Miss.; three sons, Donald Meriwether of Raleigh, N.C., Edwin R. Meriwether of Ozark and David Meriwether of Denver; three sisters, Dorthy Birdsong of Mobile, Ala., Martha Jasmer of Bradeton, Fla., and Judy Smedley of Burke, Va.; and 15 grandchildren. GANS - Larry Wayne Springwater, 52, of Gans died Monday, July 3, 2000, in Fort Smith. He was a die setter for Rheem Manufacturing for 25 years and a lab technician for Pearle Vision.He was a graduate of Gans High School and a Baptist. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at First Assembly of God in Gans with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.He is survived by his wife, Della F. Springwater; three daughters, Renae and Jennifer Springwater, both of Fort Smith, and Carolyn Powell of Canton, Ga.; one stepdaughter, Heather Dean of Gans; one son, Justin Springwater of Gans; one stepson, Matthew Dean of Gans; his parents, L.D. and Katie Springwater of Gans; four sisters, Peggy Campbell and Carolyn Walters, both of Muldrow, Janice Fouts of Spiro and Pansy Rinke of Van Buren; three brothers, Randy of Sallisaw, Gary of Fort Smith and Teddy of Pocola; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Devin Springwater, both of Fort Smith. HODGEN - Mary Jane "Kelly" Garrett, 37, of Hodgen died Monday, July 3, 2000, in Fort Smith. She was an apartment manager and former aerobic instructor at Carl Albert State College. She was a member of the Hodgen United Methodist Church.Funeral will be 10 a.m. today at the Hodgen United Methodist Church under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.She is survived by her husband, Jim; her mother, Wilma Jean Kelly of Poteau; three sisters, Brenda Jean Kelly of Shady Point, Angela Ann Brown of Poteau and Martha Lou Kelly of Dallas; and one brother, Theo "Dixon" Kelly III of Hodgen. SUBIACO - Cecilia T. Sprick, 83, of Subiaco died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, in Paris. She was a homemaker and retired from Lady Fair in Ratcliff.
