Contact them and they'll tell you what years they have. I believe Ft. Smith has never been without a paper since the 1840s - possibly earlier. If you are interested in buying microfilmed newspapers - that can be probably be done through the Univ. of Texas at Austin. I know they have microfilm for sale of Van Buren, AR newspapers.
