Hello All I was hoping someone could help me by looking up my grandfathers obituary. He died in Ft. Smith Arkansas on 8/3/1958. His name was Robert Nelson Davies. He was buried at home in Akron Ohio but I could not find an obit for him in Ohio. Also, would I request a death certificate from Arkansas where he died? Heidi, The following death records can be obtained from: Arkansas Department of Health Division of Vital Records 4815 West Markham Street, Slot 44 Little Rock, Arkansas 72205-3867 I believe the death records are $10.00..made payable to : Arkansas Department of Health. It might be hard to get an obit right now...because the Public Library is in the process of moving to the new building...It will be the middle of January, 2001 before they get moved in.
