"This might be a long shot but in the Jail Museum in Greenwood, Arkansas (Sebastian County), there's a ringbinder of info about a Cox line and I think one of the first of the line is a Christopher Cox. I looked at the book on one visit to the museum to see if they were connected to our line (they aren't). You could contact someone on the Sebastian County Genweb mailing list or the people at the museum; there's a link to the South Sebastian County Historical Society on the Sebastian County AR Genweb site via the links to other sites link." I should have added: My families (Clevenger and Cox) were in Sebastian County, Texas in the 1840's into the early 1900's. My great grandfather, William Joseph Jasper Clevenger (son of George and Nancy ? Clevenger) married Mary Jane Cox (daughter of Christopher C. and Polly ? Cox) 25 July 1868 in Sebastian County.
