JOAN DAVES COOKSON, Okla. - Joan Mawson Daves, 71, of Cookson, Okla., died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, in Tulsa. Funeral will be 1 p.m. today in the United Methodist Church of Cookson with burial at Cookson-Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Green Country Funeral Home of Tahlequah, Okla. She is survived by her husband, Harvey; two daughters, Pam Brown of Springfield, Mo., and Janice Janet of Broken Arrow, Okla.; a sister, Jean Reed of Fort Smith; a brother, Roger Mawson of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Janet, both of Broken Arrow. Pallbearers will be Bobby and Roy Mizell, Randy Brown, Terry Janet, Larry Stockton and Charles Hatfield.
