The following is the obit on IDONA SORRELL: Sprio- Idona C. Sorrell, 92 of Spiro died Friday February 2, 2001 in Sprio. She worked in Banking for many years in Bokoshe, Ok. and Sprio. She was a member of the Eastern Star for 70 years and was initiated into Bokoshe Chapter # 144 in 9135. She was the widow of George Sorrell Funeral will be 2 p.m Monday at First United Methodist Chruch with burial at Sprio City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro. She is survived by three nieces, Dr. Mary Lou Lewis of Madison W. Va., Betty Sue Coperthite of Phoenix and Francis Wood of Van Buren and three nephews, Bill and Bruce Lyons of West Virginia nd Haskell Carpenter of Oklahoma City. Pall bearers will be Bill Schmide, Dr. Robert Williams, Andy Williams, Gene Williamson, Ron Sheetz and Geoffrey Don Brannon The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
