Mamie Fountain Mamie Fountain, 95, of Fort Smith died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, in a local nursing home. She was a member of King Solomon Baptist Church and the widow of Leo Fountain. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at King Solomon Baptist Church with burial at 10 a.m. Monday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. She is survived by three sisters, Blanche Ahart, Ruth Jones Brown and Francis Feimster, all of Fort Smith; and one grandchild, Leo Fountain III. Pallbearers will be James, Ron and Walter Brewer, Shawn and Billy Simpson Jr. and William Gordon III.
