She worked for the FBI during World War II. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Gattis of Fort Smith; one son, Lee R. Jordan Jr. of Bowling Green, Ky.; four brothers, John of Casper, Wyo., Charles of Odessa, Texas, and Bob and Jim, both of Springdale; six grandchildren, Zack and Zane Gattis, Lee Jordan III, Katherine McKee, Jennifer Wimpee and Jacob Jordan; and two great-grandchildren. MARVEL PICKLE NATURAL DAM - Marvel May Pickle, 95, of Natural Dam died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and a member of Heritage United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Ernest Pickle.Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren. She is survived by one son, Raymond of Natural Dam; three grandchildren, Robert R. Pickle of Dayton, Texas, Deborah E. Humphries of Houston and Charles E. Pickle of Scotland, Ark.; and six great-grandchildren. The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. DARBY GRIFFEY BOONEVILLE - Walter Charles "Darby" Griffey, 88, of Booneville died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, in a Booneville hospital. He was a member of the Blocher Lodge No. 247, where he served as secretary for 30 years. He was a member of the Amrita Grotto and the Scottish Rite in Fort Smith. He was retired from Toggery Cleaners and the Booneville Fire Department, where he served as chief for 20 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the widower of Stella Griffey and Dorothy Griffey.Graveside service will be 3 p.m. today at Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Booneville. He is survived by one step-daughter, Pat Singleton of Kirkland, N.M.; two sisters, Oida Ryan of Booneville and Ruth Brooks of Little Rock; three step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. AGNES STOCKBURGER WINSLOW - Agnes Mildred Chandler Stockburger, 88, of Winslow died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, at a Fayetteville hospital. She was a 1932 graduate of Winslow High School and of Fayetteville Business College. She was a retired librarian and was honored by having the Winslow Library named the Agnes M. Stockburger Memorial Library. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Clyde Chapter No. 361, and the Grand Chapter of Arkansas. She served several times as Worthy Matron of the local chapter. She was a member of Winslow United Methodist Church.Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Winslow United Methodist Church with burial at Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland under the direction of Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville. She is survived by her husband, Jack; one daughter, Linda Stockburger of Fayetteville; one son, David of Rudy; one brother, Jeredon Chandler of Greenland; five grandsons; and eight great-grandchildren. The family will visit with friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. MARY HILL PARKS - Mary A. Frost Hill, 89, of Parks died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, in Waldron. She was a retired school teacher for Waldron public school system and a member of Parks Baptist Church. Funeral will be 10 a.m. today at Parks Baptist Church with burial at Parks Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron. She is survived by her husband, Archie; one son, Wallace of Parks; one sister, Inez Piles of Parks; two grandchildren, Jennifer Vickers of Parks and Damon Hill of Austin, Texas; and one great-granddaughter.
