She was a member of Midland Heights United Methodist Church.Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. today in Midland Heights United Methodist Church with burial at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith. She is survived by three daughters, Mildred Harkins of Midwest City, Jean Wilson of Fort Smith and Anna McDaris of Choctaw; one son, Charles of Tulsa; two sisters, Floy Woolard of Plainview and Sue Musgrove of Long Beach, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Gussie Maier OZARK — Gussie E. Maier, 98, of Ozark died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2000, in an Ozark nursing home. She was a homemaker and retired from Cargil. She was the widow of E.I. Maier.Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. today at Lowes Creek Cemetery, south of Ozark, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark. Robert Ridinger SALLISAW — Robert Gene Ridinger, 74, of Sallisaw died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000, in Sallisaw. He was a mechanic, self-employed and employed with Aero-Jet General in Sacramento, Calif., and a member of the mechanics and aerospace unions of California. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and received the Asiatic Pacific Theatre Medal with four stars and the Victory Medal. He served on the USS Bunker Hill. He was a Protestant.Graveside service will 10 a.m. Saturday with full military honors provided by VFW Post No. 4518, American Legion Post No. 27 and DAV Chapter No. 83 at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Lucy Kroth SALLISAW — Lucy Oleva Kroth, 84, of Sallisaw died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, in Sallisaw. She was employed by the Texas Department of Mental Health and Vian nursing home. Evelyn Blair HOUSTON — Evelyn A. Blair, formerly of Alma, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, in Houston. She was a volunteer worker for the Alma Senior Inn as a secretary/receptionist. Lawrence of Alvin; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. William Gray WATSON, Okla. — William Alfred Gray, 78, of Watson died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at his home. He served in the Navy during World War II in the Aleutian Islands. He was a fireman for Contra Costa County, Calif. He was chief and assistant chief for the Watson Fire Department. He was a farmer and cattleman and a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Sulphur Springs Baptist Church with burial at the Watson Cemetery under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home in Mena.
