    3. Thanks so much for your reply! Some descendants of ancestors born abt 1875 have listed Indian Territory on the birth record of a death certificate for their parents. Made me curious to know if the family went to OK for a time and returned to Greenwood. I read about a great flood that changed the course of the river. People used to be able to "ferry to Indian Territory until the flood changed the course of the river." I did not write down the year of the flood. Nor did I write down the previous course of the river. Thanks for letting me know about Center township.
