Robert McKinney, 85, Mulberry, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a self-employed mechanic. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Mulberry with burial at New Cemetery in Mulberry. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Graf McKinney, Mulberry; two daughters, Annis McKown, Alma, and Martha Campbell, Long Beach, Miss.; a son, Jerry McKinney, Mulberry; a sister, Jeanne Day, Manford, Okla.; a brother, John McKinney, Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Erin Smith, Van Buren, and Katie Workman, Fayetteville; and one great-grandchild, Destin Smith, Van Buren. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
