Wanda Cates GREENWOOD — Wanda Cates, 81, of Greenwood died Wednesday, May 23, 2001, in Greenwood. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Mount Harmony Cemetery in Greenwood. She is survived by two daughters, Sue Nell Zebell of Fort Worth, Texas, and Joye Beth Hayes of Greenwood; a son, Walter Dale Cates of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be family members. The body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
