The following is the obituary for J. C. McGee, Jr. J.C. McGee Jr. J.C. McGee Jr., 84, of Fort Smith died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in Nashville, Tenn. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a salesman for Varco Business Forms. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and of the Heritage Foundation. He was the widower of Ann McGee. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. He is survived by a daughter, Nancy Marks of Lenexa, Kan.; a son, David McGee of Hendersonville, Tenn.; a sister, Inez Gettys of Wichita Falls, Texas; a brother, Marshall McGee of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Mark, Jonathan and Ashley McGee. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Carolyn angelears@alltel.net
