I'm trying to get past the wall I have where my family immigrated to the U.S. The earliest relative I have (that I'm chasing at this moment) Is Charles Gustaff Newquest b.1830 d. 1924 in Huntstown, Arkansas. Rumor is he is buried at a cemetery in or near Hartford. I had given up finding official records for him but since I learned that birth and death records started being kept in 1914 I have renewed hope. Can anyone tell me where I would obtain a copy of his death record? thanks! Jill Newquist
