    3. The following obits appeared in the SW Times today: LETHA POWELL OZARK - Letha Alice Powell, 99, of Ozark died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, in an Ozark hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Ozark. She was the widow of Dick Powell.Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark. She is survived by one daughter, Juanita Montgomery of Ozark; two sons, Norman and Harold, both of Ozark; one sister, Oma Montgomery of Ozark; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Garrett Mooney, Roy Johnson, David Powell, Joe and Jody Halmes and Tim Culver. WAYNE GROVENBURG Wayne Grovenburg, 47, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, near Fallsville. He was a systems analyst and instructor at Data Tronics/A.B.F and a member of East Side Baptist Church.Funeral will be 11 a.m. today at East Side Baptist Church in Fort Smith with burial at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. He is survived by one daughter, Natalie Grovenburg of Stillwater; one son, Todd of Fort Smith; his parents, Bill and Nell Grovenburg of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Bill of Colorado Springs and Doug of Tulsa. Pallbearers will be Randy Todhunter, Don Hall, Tim Harmon, David Hardt, Dave Cogswell, Bill Lohse and Chris Burton. . MARY FLUMERFELT SALLISAW - Mary Jane Flumerfelt, 74, of Sallisaw died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, in Sallisaw. She was employed by General Motors and the U.S House of Representatives for Rep. Don Darrell. She and her husband operated Flumerfelt Funeral Home in Oxford, Mich. She was a junior high substitute teacher in Texas. She was active in the Garden Club and Order of the Eastern Star in Burkburnett, Texas. She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star Orion-Fellowship No. 340 in Lake Orion, Mich. She was a Protestant and the widow of John Crawford Flumerfelt.Funeral will be at a later date in Michigan with burial at Mount Avon Cemetery in Rochester, Mich. under the direction of Huntoon Funeral Home in Oxford, Mich. Local arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She is survived by one sister, Lethone M. Render of Manchester, Mich.; four brothers, Joseph Augustine of L'Anse, Mich., John Augustine of Akins, Okla., David Augustine of Milford, Mich., and Thomas A. Augustine of Rose City, Mich. Viewing will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home in Sallisaw. The family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. NANCY GREEN SANTA ANA, Calif. - Nancy Carol Green, 60, of Santa Ana, Calif., died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000, in her home. She was a microbiologist for 38 years.Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Alma City Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. She is survived by her husband, John L. Green; one daughter, Karen Torres of Santa Fe, N.M.; one son, Danny Green of Santa Ana; one sister, Terry Barrett of Moreno Valley, Calif.; one brother, Darrell Hamilton of Moreno Valley; and two grandchildren. LESSLEY PETERMAN ALMA - Lessley D. "Pete" Peterman, 76, of Alma died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, in a local hospital. He was a retired minister and a retired employee of Frisco-Burlington Northern Railroad. He was a member of Kenner Chapel Baptist Church.Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Kenner Chapel Baptist Church with burial at Newberry Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; two daughters, Joyce Watkins of Alma and Helen Ruth Grigson of Fort Smith; one son, Joel Glen Peterman of Cane Hill; two brothers, Freddy Peterman of El Reno, Okla. and Wayne Peterman of Yukon, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Frank Watkins, Mike and Michael Peterman, David Morse, Allen Ray Ward, Robert Dreggs and James Philpot. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. LARKIN TEDFORD MOUNTAINBURG - "Tugum" Larkin Henry Tedford, 55, of Mountainburg died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, in his home. He was a automobile mechanic and was the widower of Betty Lou (Mackrill) Tedford.Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Harmon Cemetery, northeast of Ozark, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. He is survived by two sons, Larkin Henry Tedford Jr. of Ozark and Charles Tedford of Hemet, Calif.; his mother, Eula Long of Mountainburg; two sisters, Betty Fay Pinkerton of Carmen, Okla., and Linda Lewis of Ozark; three brothers, Billy Ray Newton and William Newton, both of Mulberry, and David Lee Wood of Mountainburg; three grandchildren, Heather, Stephanie and Zack Tedford, all of Hemet.
