Hi, My gg grandfather H.S. Meyer b 1858 d 1930. Have no first name although I do know the Middle initial stays for Sebastain. Have been to the cemetery. He is buried Jackson Cemetery, Hartford, AR and have pictures of the headstone. Headstone only reads the years and initials of the name I have contacted Little Rock, AR for death certificate and have paid for it but they claim they do not have any record. Not sure if he died in Hartford, AR (which I think he did) or maybe even Fort Smith, AR. Does any body on the list have access to a death index for 1930 or maybe a look up at the Fort Smith Library ?? Or any suggestions where else I can look or call?? I live in Nebraska and I am trying to find out this info for my mother and she is not in best of health. So time is against me Thanks Vickie
