    2. BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Reba Fay Estes, 82, of Broken Arrow, formerly of Van Buren, died Monday, July 31, 2000, at Broken Arrow. She was employed with Seismograph Corporation for 19 years and was the widow of Homer Estes. She was a homemaker and charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher for 19 years and active in the choir, quartet and WMU’s. Funeral will be 10 a.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church of Broken Arrow with burial at 3 p.m. at Gracelawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home of Broken Arrow. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Gunnells of Broken Arrow; one sister, Mildred Tanner of Fort Smith; two brothers, Phillip Wesley Fry of Broken Arrow and Richard Lee Fry of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Jason Lambeth and Travis and Stephanie Gunnells. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 851 W. Norman, Broken Arrow, OK 74012. Don M. Trowbridge, 62, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, in a local hospital. He retired from Arkansas Oklahoma Gas and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Judy; one daughter, Lisa Trowbridge of Fort Smith; and one son, Michael of Fort Smith. FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Anne Gillespie Lindquist of Farmington Hills, formerly of Barling, died Saturday, July 29, 2000, in Michigan. Memorial service will be Saturday at Spirit of Christ Church in Novi, Mich. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra June Wilde of Farmington Hills; one son, Mark A. Witte of Homestead, Fla.; one sister, Beth Lee of Oregon; one brother, Grady Gillespie; and three grandchildren. Betty Rea Savery, 90, of Van Buren died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, in a local nursing home. She retired as a Registered Nurse and was the widow of Dr. Harry Savery. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Smith. Graveside memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Gracelawn Cemetery Arbor under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. She is survived by two sisters, Wilma Claypool of Van Buren and Ev Shaver of Highland Ranch, Colo.; and three nieces, Sandy Little of Honolulu, Judy Manning of Highland Ranch and Jo Beth Geraldson of San Antonio, Texas. MENA — Mirl Phillips, 77, of Mena died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, at his home. He was a retired carpenter and a Baptist. He was a member of Neptune Masonic Lodge No. 619 of Long Beach, Calif. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at the Lone Valley Cemetery in Sims under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena. He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Jean Grant of New Orleans and Ellen Young of Mena; two sons, Marvin of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Perry of Alexandria, La.; one sister, Velva Gregson of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Travis and Darren Hill, Nicholas Emerson, Joey Wansavage and John Michael Phillips. OZARK — Thomas Eugene “Tom” Fine, 64, of Ozark died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, at his home. He retired from the Air Force and was the former owner of Fine Golf Company. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel of Ozark with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann; his mother, Lillian Little of Dayton, Ohio; three sisters, Sharon Hollis, Golden Martin and Charlene Little, all of Dayton; and one brother, Doug Little of Troy, Ohio. Pallbearers will be William Proffitt, Todd Davis, Michael Franklin, Paul Lee, Robert Hollowell, Terry Love and Wesley Lee. BOONEVILLE — Hubert McCoy, 81, of Booneville died Monday, July 31, 2000, in a Booneville hospital. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Roberts Funeral Home Memorial Chapel of Booneville with burial at Cauthron Cemetery in Booneville. He is survived by two sons, Robert of Japan and Eugene of Texas; one sister, Aline Landers of Abilene, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bill Fennell, Jack Tabler, Charles Dempsey, Steven Joyce, Thurman Ingram and Robert Smith. HACKETT — John Clarence Ware, 76, of Spiro died Monday, July 31, 2000, in a Pocola nursing home. He retired from Trailmobil in Longview, Texas, and was a Baptist. He was the widower of Flora Evelyn Rhodes Ware. Funeral was Wednesday in McConnell Funeral Home Chapel of Greenwood with burial at Old Union Cemetery in Hackett. He is survived by one brother, Howard of Mississippi, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Alfred Flesher, Melton and Asa Carter, Carl Green and David and Jimmy Lee Rhodes. Jessie Marie Jeffrey, 93, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker and the widow of Dewey Jeffrey. Private graveside service will be at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. She is survived by two sisters, Bertha “Boe” Thompson of Lowell and Violet “Doll” Gibbs of Tulsa.
