Bridgewood, who was committed to the jail of Washington County, charged with the murder of William Free, has made his escape therefrom and is running at large: Now, therefore, I, Thomas S. Drew, Governor of the State of Arkansas, by virtue of the authority in me vested by law, do hereby offer a reward of Two Hundred Dollars to any person who may apprehend the said Bridgewood, and deliver him to the Sheriff of said County of Washington, in order that justice on his behalf may be had and executed. DESCRIPTION The said Thomas H. Bridgewood is about 23 years of age, about 5 feet 8 inches high, blue eyes, light hair, nose large, weighs about 125 or 130 lbs.; generally wears a cap and roundabout coat, plays fiddle well, and is fond of dancing, --very loquacious and self-concieted-has small scar on his upper lip, his foreteeth are broad, he generally wears pistols and bowie knives, and is always smiling.
