She was born Dec. 3, 1914, in Balmorhea, Texas. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, St. Andrews Altar Guild and was the widow of William F. "Bill" Schmidt.Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery in Pecos, Texas, under the direction of N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors of Amarillo.She is survived by one daughter, Sara S. Smith of New Cannaan, Conn.; one son, William F. Schmidt Jr. of Spiro; two brothers, John Moore of Pecos and J.T. Moore of Dallas; five grandchildren and one great-grandson.Memorial contributions may be to the donor's favorite charity.
