    3. The following appeared for Southwest Times Record, Saturday, POMONA, Calif. - Billie Tallman, 90, of Pomona, Calif., formerly of Wister, died Monday Aug. 7, 2000, in La Miranda, Calif. She was a childcare provider.Funeral service will be today at 10 a.m. at Ellis Chapel Church in Wister with burial at Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Pocola.She is survived by one son, Robert Scott Tallman of Pomona; two daughters, Sarah Roberta Tallman of Tulsa and Mary Ann Armenteros of Downy, Calif.; one grandson Andrew; and one great-granddaughter Janice Ann. MENA - Robert Lloyd Conway Sr., 81, of Mena , died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000, in Mena. He served in the Army and was a member of the American Legion No. 0018, Eagles Lodge No. 435 and the Elks Lodge No. 781. He was a truck driver for James Moran Trucking.Graveside service will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, Ind., under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home in Mena.He is survived by his wife, Laura of Mena; two daughters, Dorothy R. Wagner of York, Pa., and Mary A. Ryan of Mena; three sons, Robert Lloyd Conway Jr., and Lauren J. Conway, both of South Bend, Ind., and James Lee Conway of Newton Hamilton, Pa.; one sister, Dorothy Claybomb of Mt. Union, Pa.; 22 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Wilson McDonald, 83, of Fort Smith, died Friday Aug. 11, 2000, in a Fort Smith hospital. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, he was a retired educator with 16 years teaching experience and 20 years superintendent experience at Atoka, Okla.The body was cremated under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.He is survived by his wife, Venita; one daughter, Peggy McKinney of Fort Smith; two sons Dr. Cliff McDonald of Poteau and Wilson McDonald Jr. of Coppell, Texas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. LONDON - George W. Curry, 83, of London died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, at a Little Rock hospital. He retired as superintendent of schools from Clever, Mo. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of First United Methodist Church in Russellville.Funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. at Humphrey Funeral Home Chapel of Russellville with burial at Shiloh Cemetery in Atkins.He is survived by his wife, Ruby Burris Curry; one daughter, Rosemary Starry of Mequon, Wis.; one son, George of London; one brother, Fletcher of Caruthers, Calif.; and three grandchildren, George Dustin Curry and Brent Dolan Curry, both of London, and Ashley Rose Starry of Mequon.
