    3. The following obits appeared in the SW Times today: Lynna Wade CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. - Lynna Dawn Wade, 94, of Cathedral City died Nov. 10 ,2000 at her home. She was born Sept. 24, 1906 in Indian Territory, Tamaha, Okla. In 1924, she entered St. Edward School of Nursing. She served as a first lieutenant in the Army Nurses Corps from 1942-46 and received the Military Order of Purple Heart. She was a registered nurse at Desert Regional Medical Center for 50 years and worked as a private nurse. She was a Religious Science practitioner since 1956. She was recognized as the oldest living member of the Military Order of Purple Hearts in the nursing corps, one of the oldest active members of the California Nursing Association, a 30-year volunteer at Mizell Senior Center, a member of DAV Post No. 66 and a volunteer for the Red Cross.Memorial services will be announced at a later date with Palm Springs (Calif.) Mortuary in charge of arrangements. She is survived by her husband, Leon Morris of Cathedral City; two sisters, Pauline Oskins of Ventura, Calif., and Beulah Robertson of Atherton, Calif. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Desert Regional Medical Center, Palm Springs, CA. Mary Forbes CINCINNATI - Mary Ann "Lessie" Spangler Forbes, 96, of Cincinnati died Friday, Nov. 17, 2000, in Cincinnati. She was born in Crawford County. She was a homemaker and the widow of Walter Briley.Funeral was Monday in Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home in Cincinnati with burial at Baltimore Pike Cemetery in Cincinnati. She is survived by two daughters, Pauline Renfroe of Exeter, Calif., and Leola Whitt of Cincinnati; one son, Duane Briley of Fort Smith; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati. Mary Lucas POTEAU - Mary Jane Lucas, 80, of Poteau died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, in Poteau. Gladys Dickerson CLARKSVILLE - Gladys L. Dickerson, 94, of Clarksville died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, in her home. She was a member of First Baptist Church for 79 years. She was the widow of Odus E. Retha Replogle Retha May Replogle, 70, of Van Buren died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, in Broken Arrow, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of New Life Pentecostal Church.Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in New Life Pentecostal Church in Van Buren with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. Ambers Denton CLARKSVILLE - Ambers "Runt" Denton, 89, of Clarksville died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, in a local hospital. He was a graduate of Coal Hill High School, a former Detroit Tigers scout, a dual member and past Master of Franklin Masonic Lodge No. 9 at Clarksville and Coal Hill Masonic Lodge No. 383, a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason grand lecturer emeritus of the Grand Lodge of Arkansas, past patron of the Order of Eastern Star and served as Rainbow Dad for 20 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater, was wounded in Italy and received the Purple Heart. He was a member of American Legion Bunch Walton Post No. 22 and DAV. Funeral was Tuesday at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville.
