    3. The following obits appeared in the SW Times on Monday: LUCY FORD OZARK - Lucy E. Ford, 81, of Ozark died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, in an Ozark hospital. She was retired from Western Growers and a Baptist.Funeral will be 11 a.m. today at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at Berkley Cemetery south of Cecil. She is survived by her husband, Norman; one son, Jerry L. Ford of Gresham, Ore.; one sister, Cora Inman of Salinas, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Colleen and Jeffery Ford, both of Gresham.Pallbearers will be Jeffrey, Ronald, Stephen, James A., Michael R. and Wendell R. Ford and Terry Masingale. WILLIE SHELLY Willie J. Shelly, 103, of Van Buren died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, in a local nursing home. He was an Army veteran of World War I and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dyer Cemetery in Dyer under the direction of Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. JEWELL WHITLOCK WISTER - Jewell L. Whitlock, 90, of Wister died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000, at Sparks Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker, member of First Church of the Nazarene in Wister and the widow of Roy Whitlock.Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Church of the Nazarene in Wister with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. She is survived by two sons, Leon of Pocola and Carl of Cameron; two sisters, Ila Dodson of Oklahoma City and Ethelee Funderburg of Enid, Okla.; one granddaughter, Patricia Ann Banning of Pocola; and three great-grandchildren. DONNA BORIN SALLISAW - Donna Borin, 82, of Sallisaw died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, in Tulsa. She was the former owner/operator of Carl's Grocery in Sallisaw and the widow of Carl Raymond Borin.Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mallory Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Sallisaw Cemetery in Sallisaw. She is survived by one daughter, Donna Agent of Sand Springs, Okla.; two sisters, Ebbie Larson of California and Otherine Mason of Denison, Texas; one brother, Raymond Montgomery of Denison; two grandchildren, Brooke Simon of Vian and Adrian Arnold of Grove, Okla.; and three great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Joe Paul Simon, Jerry Simon, Albert Sallee, Jim Arnold, Bob Baker, Billy Wayne Wood and Micky Chuculate. CECIL PIGG Cecil W. Pigg, 82, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, in Fort Smith. He was a retired foreman from Waldron Furniture and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemtery in Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Opal B. ROBERT FERGUSON CLARKSVILLE - Robert Ed Ferguson, 58, of Clarksville died Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, in his home. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, a Catholic Brother for 10 years, a lithographer, college teacher, union negotiator and organizer and member and distinguished past president of the Kiwanis Club in Vallejo, Calif.Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with burial of cremains at Stillwell Cemetery. He is survived by one daughter, Kitty Ferguson of Sierraville, Calif.; one son, Tom of Clarksville; one brother, Floyd of San Francisco, Calif.; and three nephews, Matt, Mike and Bruce Ferguson. VICKI AVERY CECIL - Vicki Louise Avery, 46, of Cecil died Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker.Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cecil Methodist Church. The body was cremated under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. She is survived by her husband, Keith; one daughter, Leslie Neal of San Marcos, Calif.; her parents, George and Ouita Busby of Cecil; two brothers, Keith Busby of Anaheim, Calif., and Jimmy Busby of Mountain Home; and two grandchildren, Sarah and Christopher Neal. HAZEL HOPKINS Hazel Hopkins, 90, of Van Buren died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, in a local nursing home. She was a retired nurse and lab technician and a Navy veteran of World War II. She was the widow of Clark Hopkins.A private graveside service will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
